Coach: Kerry Neal

Kerry Neal grew up playing high school football in North Carolina, and by his senior year he was a 4 Star Recruit, and ranked number 2 in the country at his position, Defensive End.  Kerry went to college for football and graduated from the University of Notre Dame under coaches Charlie Weis and Brian Kelly.  Kerry began training as an athlete at EFT, including his NFL Combine/Pro Day training, and was able to pursue a NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts.  Kerry currently specializes with high school and collegiate athletes to coach strength, speed, and defensive football position-specific drills, as well as NFL Combine Prep.

Coach: Landon Cox

Landon Cox was a three-year football starter at Thornton Fractional North High School in Calumet City, IL, before playing wide receiver at Northern Illinois University. Landon played in the NFL teams such as the Cincinnati Bengals and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  Landon began training at EFT Sports Performance in 2007, including his NFL Combine/Pro Day training. Landon specializes in 40 yard/60 yard Dash training, as well as high school and college performance training for strength, speed, and agility.

Coach: Pete Houlihan

As an All-State high school football player, the New Lenox, IL native has been at the top of his game since youth.  Pete was a three-year starter at Eastern Illinois University, and played Defensive Back and specialized in punt return.  At Eastern, Pete studied Kinesiology and Exercise Science.  To compliment his degree in that field, Pete also became a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  His areas of expertise range from strength training, speed, and agility, to defensive back skill coaching.

Coach: Nate Vasher

Nate is a Texas native, who played collegiate football for the University of Texas and was drafted, fourth round, in 2004 to the Chicago Bears.  At strong safety, Nate had a successful 7-year long NFL career, which included a Pro Bowl appearance, NFC title, and first team All-Pro title.  Nate is a longtime EFT Athlete and is now dedicated to helping high school and collegiate players take their game to the next level.

Coach: Brandon McGowan

Born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey, Brandon played running back and safety growing up.  He attended the University of Maine where he finished his collegiate career with 700 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 25 interceptions, 15 forced fumbles, and 15 fumble recoveries.  Brandon played in the NFL for both the Chicago Bears and New England Patriots, and has been part of the EFT family for over 5 years.

Coach: Johnny Knox

The former Pro Bowl player was born and raised in Houston, TX.  Johnny Knox spent his collegiate career at Abilene Christian University, played Wide Receiver and was a return specialist.  Despite a career ending injury, the Chicago Bears player has bounced back and is determined to help young players reach their goals and excel in the game of football.  Johnny has coached many of the EFT Football Academy 7v7 teams, and is a specialist at all of the football events and showcases.

Coach: Mickey Baucus

As a graduate from Carmel Catholic High School, Mickey went on to play at the University of Arizona.  Mickey is from Mundelein, IL and was a four-year starter at left tackle.  As an undrafted free agent, Mickey got a taste of the NFL when he played for the Miami Dolphins.  He now works with the EFT Football Academy, and specializes in all areas of the offensive line.

Coach: Byron Dawkins

Byron Dawkins was a 2-year starting quarterback at Evanston Township High School.  He went on to start at College of Dupage and Robert Morris University. He made 1st team all conference during his senior year at Evanston as well as making captain. During his senior year he received the Julie K. Hughes scholarship memorial leadership award in 2011. Byron led both the College of Dupage and Robert Morris University where he was also a captain senior year to winning seasons. He led Robert Morris to their first conference championship appearance. Byron resides in Evanston and looks forward to returning to the north shore community in the role of a coach.

Coach: Darius Fleming

Darius was an All American Linebacker at St. Rita High School, he helped the Mustangs win the state
title in 2007. Darius graduated from University of Notre Dame where he was an Outside LineBacker.
In 2012 the San Francisco 49ers drafted Darius in the 5th round, after two seasons with the 49ers
he joined the New England Patriots where he helped defeat the Seattle Seahawks in an epic Victory in Super Bowl XLIX. Darius is now fully committed to EFT as a defensive specialist focusing on player skill development, video analysis and overall education of the game.
